Good morning all!
I received an e-mail from a colleague with some ideas for independent seat-work for the general ed students. (I am cc-ed on everything, whether it pertains to me or not.) But often times I can tweak the information a bit to work for my students. More often than not, we can participate one way or another with some accommodations and/or modifications.
As independent work, I see this more appropriate for some of the higher functioning students. But this work can be done at a range of levels. Feel free to use and take the list!
Enjoy!
XOXO

Hello Dear Blog World
Welcome to my new blog in which I will share all my knowledge and mishaps in the world of teaching, working with kids with Autism, and probably some silliness.
There are a lot of great blogs out there already on this subject, and I hope to contribute some new ideas, to confirm that yes certain things do happen to everyone, and provide resources for those who are searching. I am a FIRST YEAR teacher, so I'm pretty green. It is the perfect opportunity to document the journey and have a place to archive the stories that I hope to be able to look back and laugh at some day in the future.
Autism Spectrum Disorders create a truly magical place, and I hope to contribute positively to the community.
Comments and Feedback are always welcomed.
XOXO
